Quick update
Inara, Mom and I made it to Colorado this afternoon. Hooray we survived. Our flight was good. Inara did very well in my opinion given it was her first plane ride. I carried her in the Baby Bjorn at John Wayne, and she fell asleep before we boarded. Sweet! Then she woke up right before take off so I gave her a bottle, which was what the doctor recommended to help her ears adjust. Inara played with mom and I for a bit, then fell asleep and took a 40 minute nap. When she woke, she was cranky but we were able to distract her for a bit and ended up giving her another bottle as we were landing. Overall, she did really well. I was a bit worried about my mom, however, because she was scared during the turbulence. I hope she can make the flight home by herself. What a great mom to say she can help us out and fly home alone. Shawn and Barb picked the 3 of us up at the airport. The weather is cold but not miserably unbearable or anything. The house looks great. Inara's room is bigger than her old room, and our room is a great size and fits all our furniture. I was walking into our room and was a bit cold, walked to my side of the bed, and was shocked by the heat rush. I looked up and was so thrilled to see the vent above my side of the bed...AWESOME!!!! Overall, the house is a good size. It's a mess but that's to be expected with all the unloading we need to do. The first trailer was emptied, so we have our beds up. The next trailer comes tomorrow and I think the third comes on Monday. Wish us luck that nobody gets injured. Speaking of injury, Inara's crib was banged up a bit in the move, so I'm looking forward to Pop coming to visit so he can work his magic and fix it up. I have pics from yesterday's funeral, which I know a lot of people want to see, so Shawn will post them soon, but he has to get his desktop set up first. I'll write more about the house and moving and everything this weekend.

Glad to hear you made it safely. It sounds like Inara faired better than your mom!
