Last night's Chamber of Commerce mixer

Last night I took Kristi as my wingman to a C of C networking mixer. I knew it was at a place called Huntington Terrace, which I thought was a hotel. When I Googled directions, I decided to look up the place to see pics of it before hand. Ha! It is a senior community. Since I had no idea what to expect from the networking, Kristi and I went in casual and focused on just having fun. We did that indeed. I had asked Kristi to go with me in order to help her out with the Arbonne challenge of passing out 5 sample packs a week. She was super excited because she actually passed out 3 and got new contacts. Way to go, Kristi! I've been attending a lot of Chamber events lately, which is fun because I feel like I've got a new little family of sorts growing, so it was fun to have Kristi there to meet some of the people I've met through the Chamber. It was totally cute when Linda, the main organizer at the Chamber, came over with this lady Gerry, a real estate agent, to show her how cute my pregnant belly is getting. The two ladies then gussed and told me how excited they are for me. I love all these new friends I'm making. Honestly, I must say that the greatest thing about building my Arbonne business is exactly things like this: getting to meet so many incredible people and, more importantly, all the self-development I've done this past year. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined joining a Chamber of Commerce and being involved in community activities like I am now. But I love it and am so grateful that because of Arbonne I have grown so much and become so much more confident in myself. Yes, it may be hard to believe, but in the past I was shy and did not have the highest level of self-esteem. I was just good at putting on a show to lead people to believe I was self-assured. Now, I have a great sense of confidence in myself and my abilities, and boy does it feel good! One more reason to love Arbonne.
