We have the keys to our new house!

It's official. We are now homeowners!!! AHHHH! I can't explain how excited we are. Yesterday I had butterflies in my stomach all day. Shawn came home early so we could do the walk-through of the house and then head over for the closing. My hands were sweaty and that never happens. When we sat down, I couldn't help but notice the big stacks of papers sitting in front of the title and mortgage reps. Aye carumba! Thank goodness Jen was there to make me feel more at ease. Signing home papers is an experience in itself. So much signing and initially to do. But we did it and without any hand cramps. Then Jen handed me the official key and I totally teared up. We said our good-byes and walked outside. Jen was telling us how much she loved working with us and I totally started balling. I told her this was so huge for us because it was our whole purpose for moving and we made it happen. She started crying too. She helped by changing the subject to Inara. That always makes me happy. Shawn and I then went by the house and walked through it again. We started talking abour where we want to put things. It made this whole experience even more real to walk through the house without Jen. I couldn't be happier with our decision. Yes, it means a huge expense every month, but at least this place is all ours. Thank you soooo very much to everyone who has been super enthusiastic for us, always inquiring about the house. This means so much to me. A special thank you to Sierra who texted me yesterday and said how happy she was for her big sis. That meant so much to me. I have the best friends and family too of course! I love you all and can't wait to show everyone our first house!!! Off to start cleaning and getting the house ready for our move next weekend. I've never been this happy about cleaning before. YAY!

The Comicon and our first weekend back

Thursday I got up bright and early to head out to San Diego for Comicon with Jason, Toby and Tony. We wanted to leave by 6am to beat the traffic. That's funny to write now that I've survived the whole ordeal we had. For some dumb reason, the 3 boys didn't get home from the preview night of the Con until 2am Wed., so needless to say, they were all pretty tired to start off. We were doing pretty well on the 5 freeway when all of a sudden it came to a complete stop. We soon found out there was an overturned big rig that had exploded just a few miles out of our reach. Those few miles ended up taking us about 3 hours to cross. So what should have been a 2-2 1/2 hour drive turned into a 5+hour drive. It got the point where I'd start cheering when we'd move .1 miles. Yeah, how pathetic. My last day in CA and I'm stuck in traffic. Perfect. This was all to remind me how much I hate CA traffic. At least I wasn't by myself and had friends to chat with in the car. By the time we got to the vicinity we needed to be in, we were all exhausted (oh except for Toby who pretty much slept the whole ride down there), thirsty, hungry, and in desperate need of a bathroom. Thank goodness I didn't get any coffee that morning or I would have been hurtin'. Once we got to the convention center area, we then drove around for another 45 min. looking for a place to park. Downtown San Diego seriously needs more parking lots and structures. It was ridiculous how packed the area was. People were even parking illegally and just taking tickets instead of dealing with finding open spaces. Tony ended up parking on bum row, which kinda worried me, but I think he was just to the point of wanting out of his car. We ended up grabbing lunch and getting our bathroom breaks before we headed into Comicon. Once inside, we were swarmed by the masses of fanboys. I love going mainly to people watch, but I think this time after our long ass drive I was just more irritated by the crazies than I was amused. At least I got to see Gris Grimly, one of my favorite illustrators. I got Inara her first signed Grimly book, so that was cool. Jason got an illustration done by one of his faves, so the torturous drive ended up being worth it for him. We walked the floor of the convention and looked at some stuff here and there, but again we were all so tired, that I don't think any of us really wanted to stay that long. I've never made it to any of the lectures/presentations, but I heard that people camped out overnight for the Heroes screening and panel, and there's no way in hell I'll do those kind of things any more, so I think my days of seeing the cool ones are long gone. The one celebrity sighting I had was the actor who played The Greatest American Hero. Overall, the day was good because I got to hang out with friends, but it, unfortunately, didn't end up like we had hoped.

Friday morning Shawn, Inara and I headed back home. It's never going to be easy leaving my parents, but I am grateful that I got to spend nearly 3 weeks with them. Honestly, the best part of the trip was seeing my dad play with Inara. I can't get over how many times he fed her. The images of my dad running upstairs to get her when she'd wake from her nap and him hopping around to get her to laugh are priceless. Thank you Mom and Pop for spoiling us while we were there and I can't wait for you guys to make it out here in Sept. Pop, I'm holding you to it, so no flaking allowed.

The airport experience wasn't half as bad as mine was coming out here, as I figured it wouldn't since Shawn was with me to help with baby girl. She did pretty well on the plane, and Shawn got to hold the squirmy wormy most of the flight because I'm evil like that. Ha ha. We lucked out in that nobody sat next to us, so we had extra room for Inara to move around. Shawn even sat her in the window seat and buckled her up. She seemed to like looking out the window and having a seat to herself. She even took a nap on Shawn's lap, which was too cute. Maybe I won't give up flying with a baby quite yet.

Saturday was Avery's 3rd birthday, so Kristi had invited some friends over for cake and ice cream. Inara took a couple little naps, and Shawn and I walked around pretty tired most of the day. It was fun to get back home. We got a big greeting from Avery, who said several times how much she missed us. Ahh. I really missed "the cloud" (our nickname for our bed). There's nothing like sleeping in your own bed, especially after being away for 2 1/2 weeks. However, Saturday night I had the hardest time sleeping. Now that vacation is over, it's time to get back to the real world, which means my brain is running 50 million miles a minute with everything going on. I finally got out of bed and played on the computer for awhile. Hey, it gave me time to catch up on people's blogs at least. I think I finally fell asleep around 2am. Yeah, thank goodness I got tons of sleep at my parents' house that I didn't feel that groggy in the morning.

Sunday, Shawn, Inara and I ventured out to go fridge shopping. We hit 3 stores and found a couple we like. I just have to re-measure the fridge area and the walk way to make sure there's enough room for the door to open if we get a 25 cu. foot fridge. Otherwise, we have to get a counter-depth one, and they are more expensive, even though they are smaller. Go figure. Pretty much all that I could think about yesterday was the house. Today is our closing day and everything is a go for 4pm. There is so much to think about though and, of course, so much we want to do for the house. Shawn was even shopping online with me last night for a new bedding set for the guest bedroom. That just shows you how excited he is for the house too! He even pointed out a couple he had already found online. How cute is that? We can't stop talking about the house and are besides ourselves. I cannot wait for the U-Haul to get here Aug. 9. Hooray! Today is such a monumental day in our lives. It is scary to be taking such a huge leap into adulthood that's for sure, but it's worth it all knowing that we are providing Inara with a house, our whole purpose for moving to CO. Yes, we did it! Actually, Shawn did it because he's the one signing his life away. He said he was going to package up his arm and leg and kidney before we head out to the title office. Oh, he's so silly. Well, I better go start doing my hand exercises so I'm ready to sign all those bazillion pages.

So much to catch up on

Our vacation is starting to wind down. We've taken a few excursions here and there. I actually thought we'd be able to do more, but it's ended up quite nice staying at my parents' house most days and relaxing. I've got a good tan going at least. Tomorrow morning I leave super early for San Diego for Comicon. I hope to get some good pics of crazy people dressed up. The Con is so much fun, but tempting because I know I'll want to buy stuff, but we're on a budget now so I can't go too crazy.

Quick update on house stuff: we signed all the loan papers the other night. That was an ordeal! Thank goodness it's over with. Our home owner's insurance is all set, Shawn called on electric and gas, and he booked the Uhaul for Aug 9. I scheduled the carpet cleaner for late next week and have an electrician/gas man coming in on Tue while I'm there cleaning for an estimate on putting a gas line in for the laundry room and the kitchen. We are set to sign the closing paperwork at 4pm on Mon. Only a few more days and it will all be official!!! Yay!!

OK. Now, movie updates: Shawn and I saw The Dark Knight. I loved it. He said he liked the last one better. Whatever. Honestly, Heath Ledger's performance was amazing. I thought it would be a challenge to step into a role that Jack Nicholson made famous, but Heath took it to a whole new level and blew me away. I was scared of him actually. He's a total psycho. The scene when he's wearing a nurse's uniform is creepy and genius. The story is complex and has some unexpected twists, so it kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire 2 1/2 hours. Like I said, I loved TDK.

Last night a huge group of us (10 in all) went to see Mamma Mia. While it's not the best movie musical by far, it was still very entertaining. Nobody can listen to an ABBA song and not start tapping his/her feet or singing along. Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried sang beautifully. I don't know how Pierce Brosnan got the job because he can't sing worth crap, but at least he's good to look at. The end credit dance scenes were hilarious. I so want to get Shawn to dress up in an ABBA costume with me for Halloween. Now that would be one winning getup.

Last week Mom and I took Inara to the OC Fair. Inara seemed to like looking at the farm animals. She would get excited and start kicking her legs and flapping her arms. It was pretty funny. We walked around and looked at some of the vendor booths. Inara started getting a little fussy, so I gave her a bottle and she was happy. Mom and I grabbed lunch: fried sweet potatoes, zucchini and fish. Hey, it's the fair. We had to eat something totally bad for us. I ended up picking up a few gifts for Kylie and Kristi's new little one and, of course, something for Inara. We were there for 3 hours and baby girl did so well. She, of course, crashed in the car on the way home.

Saturday was my dad's surprise 60th birthday party. We told him we were having people over but never indicated how many. I think he was surprised to see so many people there. I know he was shocked by the prime rib lunch Dale (from Rosa's Cafe) made for him. I was excited to meet and talk with Pop's fishing and hunting buddies. My cousin Rob, Kelli and Alex flew down too, so it was awesome to see them, especially since they were unable to come to CO last month. They all finally got to meet Inara, which I was excited about. I was also thrilled to have my cousin Kim, Danny and their new little one Madison here. Part of the reason why I planned my trip here was around Kim having her baby. Maddie is so tiny! The diapers don't even fit on her. Guaranteed she'll start filling things out over night like Inara did though. Saturday was a great day all around. I was bummed that I ended up with a horrible stomachache that night and pretty much went to bed before everyone left. That sucked! But I'm glad Pop had a good day.

The best part of this trip has been watching Inara grow. Her hair is getting longer and curly in the back. Her two bottom front teeth are visible and coming in strong. And sharp! She's pulling herself up and totally trying to walk, although she hasn't started crawling yet. Yeah, I'm thinking at this point she just might skip the whole crawling stage. She loves to be in the pool. She kicks her legs and loves to sit in her ladybug floaty. It's so cute. But the best part has been watching my parents with her, especially my dad. The second we start to hear her make a noise over the monitor, he jumps up and goes upstairs to get her. He's gotten really good at feeding her her baby food too. I have pics that we'll post once we get back to CO and get settled back in. Oh and my mom keeps suggesting that I just leave Inara here with her so we can pack our stuff and move into the new house without having to worry about the baby and she'll just bring her to CO when they come out for Inara's birthday. Yeah, NO! But good try mom. At least, my parents are now committed to coming out in Sept to see the house but more so to see baby girl for her birthday. Yay!!!

Happy 10 Month Birthday Baby Girl!

Today is Inara's 10 month birthday. Wow! She is about 28 inches long and still weighs around 19 pounds. I can't wait for everyone to see her who haven't got to see her in awhile. She's getting so big. The biggest news since we've gotten to my parents' house is that she officially has two teeth coming in. They have even broken through, and I can definitely feel them when she gnaws on my fingers. Just a bit painful I must say. But I don't care if it makes her gums feel better. Poor thing has struggled to get to bed the past few nights and has woken up screaming in pain a few times now. I just wish there was more I could do, but it has been nice being able to hold her and cuddle with her which is all she wants when she's crying, something I don't get to do often because she doesn't like it much any more. The other big news is she really loves to stand up. She isn't crawling yet, but she loves to stand. Her legs are stiff and she hasn't gotten the idea of bending her legs and moving her feet yet, but that's fine by me. Again, I'm so not ready for her to walk yet. I'm fine if she starts to crawl and does that for 6 months. Ha ha. So happy 10 month birthday sweet pea!

Our vacation in SoCal has been exactly what I needed. Yesterday I got to lay by the pool and read a magazine while Inara slept. I told my parents the last time I got to do something like that was when I was pregnant with baby last summer. I knew I didn't want to plan a ton of stuff while I was here and instead to totally take advantage of the help with baby and relax, so that's exactly what I've been doing. We did go see my grandma yesterday. It was the first time she got to meet Inara, and she seemed to really appreciate that time with her great-granddaughter. Overall, my grandma seems the same to me. Just a bit older and more fragile. But I know they are working on getting her into a home because she's at the point that she needs constant care. My mom and aunts Eliza and Katie are working hard, and as I always save, have earned their angel wings for all they have done.

Sunday was my dad's 60th birthday. We played in the pool and I made dinner for the fam. For his present, I made him a biography type photo book. I'm very proud of it and I think he really liked it too. I think he had a great day with his kids and granddaughters. I'm realizing more and more what a sucker he is for Kylie and Inara. Lisa was trying to get Kylie to eat her dinner and said she could have a popsicle if she had 4 more bites. She then said Pop, we do have more popsicles, right? He said well if we don't, I'll just have to run to the store and get more for my sharumpa. (That's his special name for Kylie.) He's the great spoiler! But that's what grandparents are supposed to do. I've loved watching him feed Inara the past couple of days. He even came and got her this morning when she woke up. It's too funny watching him with baby girl. It took Inara a day to warm up to him, but now she looks for him the second she hears his voice. Do I even need to say how much she loves her Grandma NeeNee? I told mom I think Inara wants her more than she wants me. Inara loves her Pop and NeeNee. No doubt about it.

This Saturday we are having family over for lunch. My cousin Kim is hopefully coming down with the newest addition to our family, baby Madison. I know my aunt Jeri and the family wanted to see my dad for his birthday, so I planned for them to come down this Saturday and that way we could all see the baby too. I cannot wait to hold Maddie. She's only 5 lbs. 3 oz. It's been awhile since I held such a tiny one, so I'm looking forward to seeing them this weekend.

On Sunday I think Shawn, Inara, and I are going up to Bakersfield to see some friends. Nina is organizing a fundraiser for Team In Training in Bako that weekend, so she and Mike will be there. In case you haven't heard, Mike got a dentist job in Santa Maria, so they have now relocated to Pismo Beach. Good thing they will be in Bako this weekend because I don't think we could swing a trip up that far north. Also, we want to see Greg's new house after all the work he's done on it. Let's hope Inara does well in a car for that long.

Well, I better use the rest of the nap time to get some other things done. Love ya all!

Video of the new house

Check out www.shawnandmarisa.com for the new album where Shawn put all the photos of the new house and I even took a video. Unfortunately, I ran out of a memory on the digital camera, so it stops abruptly and I didn't get the basement, but at least you can get a good feel for most of the house. I CAN'T wait to share my new home with everyone! Can you tell?

What was I thinking?

I vow to never again fly by myself with a baby. I am now safe at my parents' house, but getting here was a nightmare. Shawn picked us up and drove us to the airport at 3pm. Our flight was scheduled for 5:40. As we were on the freeway, it started pouring down rain with thunder and lighting. With rain comes slow traffic. We were starting to stress that we were going to be late to the airport. We finally arrived with good time still only to find that short term parking was full. The security guard said that since flights are being delayed, parking had been full most of the day. Just then two cars left, so we lucked out and go in. We grabbed our stuff and hurried inside only to see that there was a horrific line at the Southwest check-in counter. Because I'm traveling with a baby, I can't do express check-in. We finally get that all situated but are bummed to now learn that I'm considered a late check-in, so there's no guarantee my luggage will make it onto the plane, and I cannot get the official boarding pass because it's pass the cut-off time, so I have to get the pass at the counter at the gate. Oh and my flight still shows it's scheduled on-time, yet all other flights are flashing delayed. Whatever! We run to security line and see another huge line. Ugh! I kiss Shawn real quick, he kisses Inara real quick, and off I run. As I'm pushing her stroller and hurrying through the line I get sad because I really didn't get to say good-bye to Shawn and I'm not going to see him for a week. Just then Inara starts getting cranky and whiny. I get a couple stares from other people. Oh great. I'm the mom with the annoying kid. We wrap through the line a couple times and I'm about to start crying because I'm so flustered and nervous. Just then I see Shawn standing off on the side waiting to make sure we get through security alright. I start to tear up, smile at him, and wave my fist up at him and mouth, "I'm gonna kill you!" All I could think about was how could he make me do this all by myself?

We get to the security line and are confronted by a rude woman. She yells at me to take Inara out of the stroller and that I dropped her burp cloth. So I hurriedly get Inara out and push the stroller toward the woman. She then asks if the wheels come of the stroller or if I can take it apart. Uh, no. It's a Bob jogging stroller and it's all screwed together. She grunts and pulls the stroller through the gate. I then walk through the sensor carrying Inara and the alarm goes off. Oops. Forgot to take my cell phone out of my pocket. Rude woman goes, you can't walk through with that. No duh. Give me some slack lady! We get through the sensor and the other guard has finished searching the stroller. I put Inara in and begin to walk away when I realize I forgot to grab my cell phone off the conveyor belt. I run back and grab it after I realize I left my daughter. Oye vey!

I then start running toward an elevator because it's now 5:30! I got on the elevator only to realize I have no idea if I'm on the right one. I ask the employee who's standing next to me if this is a freight elevator or the one to the concourse. He reassured me I'm in the right one. I'm so exhausted and ready for a drink. I then see I have to take the tram to get to the right gate, so I start running again. Mind you, I'm pushing a stroller and lugging a heavy ass diaper bag. I have killed my back at this time! I make it on the tram and text Shawn to tell him I was right and had to take a tram. I see the sign for my gate and realize it's the furthest one. Figures! The airport is packed, so I maneuver my way through with the stroller and get to the Southwest counter and see the sign that says my flight is boarding. NO! There's another line at the counter and I'm stuck behind a crabby old woman who's giving the lady a hard time. I finally get up to the counter and I say, "I need to check a stroller and get a boarding pass for that flight that's boarding RIGHT NOW!" The SW employee says, "Oh that flight's delayed. I'll get you taken care of though." WHAT?! She then tells me they can't change the signs that are pre-programmed with all the flight info for the day, so to ignore the signs.

I get my pass and realize I have about 30 min. to wind down and get Inara fed and diaper changed. Thank goodness because she had a poopy one and I did NOT want to sit on a 2 hour flight with a smelly diaper on my lap. We finally start boarding around 6:45 and then sit and wait and wait and wait. The flight is totally full, but we don't have a pilot yet. He's coming from a delayed flight from Salt Lake City. The flight attendant asked if there was anything I needed. I said a free shot of tequila would be nice. We sit on the plane for 45 min and he finally arrives. Everyone cheers. By this point, I've got a squirmy kid on my lap who doesn't want to sit still and wants to stretch out. Thank goodness I got an aisle seat so she has some room to stretch. Also, I sat next to a totally sweet couple who were very understanding. The woman actually was a godsend and helped me throughout the flight. Inara kept throwing toys and the woman would help me pick them up. I was so very grateful!

We finally took off at 8:10. I made sure to give Inara a bottle at take-off to help her ears. She squirmed the whole flight, but didn't cry or make too much noise, but I knew she was passed the point of no return and was exhausted. She finally fell asleep 10 min before landing. Figures! I was impressed by my mad mommy skills in that I was able to get her in the Baby Bjorn carrier without waking her up. She was conked out. After I got off the plane, I had to wait for them to get my stroller out and we finally headed to baggage claim. I then hear from the speakers that due to all the flight delays it may take us 25 min to get our luggage. Right then I see my parents and I couldn't have been happier! The luggage actually didn't take that long and the good thing about having late luggage check-in is that it's the first ones off the conveyor. Yay! We get into the car and start heading home when all of a sudden Inara wakes up and starts spitting up/vomiting perhaps because of the altitude change and her ears not popping. I had been sitting in the front and mom was next to her, so at a red light, we quickly changed seats, I "illegally" took Inara out of the car seat to calm her down because she was crying so bad at this point. I could tell the kid had had one hell of a day. No sooner had I got her back in the carseat she was passed out. Needless to say, I was thrilled beyond belief to pull up to my parents' house. This was one of the roughest experiences I've had with a baby and refuse to ever do it again! Thank goodness I have 2 1/2 weeks to relax after this experience.

Yesterday we layed around all day and didn't do much. I made a few phone calls to friends here and spoke with my Aunt Jeri and cousin Kim. Kim had a baby girl Wed morning. Madison is 5 lbs 13 oz and has a full head of hair. Mommy and baby are doing great! I can't wait to see them. My brother and Lisa and Kylie came by to see us late in the afternoon. I then got to go to dinner with a group of friends, which was a great way to start my vacation! Inara is doing much better after a couple nights of sleep and playing with Grandma Nee Nee. My dad had to work a bunch yesterday and today. Hopefully, he'll have time this afternoon to play with baby girl.

Oh one last thing I can't forget to tell you about the nursery set up my parents have for Inara. They rented a crib, bedding, monitors and my dad bought her the Fisher Price aquarium we have back at home that Inara just loves. So she has a set-up just like home that way she will sleep fine. They even bought her a ton of diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food. And they made space in the closet and dresser for our stuff? Do you think they are excited to have her here? My mom even bought new sheets for the bed I'm sleeping in and left a couple chocolates on my pillow! Could my parents be any cooler?!?! I am soooo excited to be home with them!!!

We're heading to CA

One last quick blog before we head out to the airport. I'm so sad that our visit with Greg had to end. He is one of our best friends and we miss him a lot. It was great spending the last week with him. I wish him and his wife Tracy the best as they will soon be parents in a couple months. Speaking of baby arrivals, I'm super excited that my cousin Kim is having her baby tomorrow!!! I can't wait!!! She and Danny will be fabulous parents. All of us will be awaiting the phone call tomorrow. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl. They chose to not find out, which is beyond me. I must know what I'm having so I can plan ahead. That's the organizer in me. Well, gotta cut it short. I hope to see all my SoCal friends some time in the next couple of weeks. Love ya all!!!

Quick update on VH1 Rock Honors

My girlfriend Chara texted me last night to tell me that not only are Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters playing Saturday night, but so is one of my other all time faves Incubus. Could this lineup get any better? Actually, 3 of the guys on my "LIST" will be on stage. There are no guarantees that I will be able to control myself. I just might end up on stage at some point, or better yet, behind the stage. Ha ha. I'm sooo friggin' jazzed about the show. I can't wait. The show will air on VH1 on Thu. July 17th. For more info, check out http://www.vh1.com/shows/events/rock_honors/_2008/.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone is having a great 4th. We have had a pretty relaxing day, which is exactly what I needed. Barb made breakfast, the guys then went out for a short bit, and I worked on my scrapbook while Inara napped. We then played Bean Bag Toss the rest of the evening and will probably play a few board games tonight. Like I said, it's a perfect relaxing day. Things have been crazy as usual around here, so I wanted a day of rest.

To catch you up on what's been going on, first off, my girlfriend Sierra flew in on Tue. We got to hang out, I showed her the house, and we even got a girls' night away and went to dinner and saw Wall-E (totally cute movie by the way). Her husband and mother-in-law flew in on Thu and came to pick her up. They were then headed to Ft. Collins to see the brother-in-law and niece. It was great to see her, but I wish she was staying for good. It felt so great to have one of my best friends here with me in CO. At least I'll get to see her again when I'm back in SoCal in a few days.

Wed night our friend Greg flew in and is staying until next Tue. I swear Hotel Tomlinson is pretty booked up lately. I love having company though. It's great sharing my new home state with friends. I love getting to show them around and taking them to our favorite places. I hope we'll get to take Greg to Woody's Woodfired Pizza since I didn't get to go when Jason was here last time. The guys are doing outdoorsy guy things tomorrow, so Barb and I are going garage saling in the morning and then I'm doing laundry so I can pack our suitcases and getting last minute things ready before our flight out on Tue. I know my mom is chomping at the bit for us to get there.

As for the latest news on the house, we had our home inspection yesterday. It took about 2 hours. Girvin, the inspector, was super nice and showed us so many things in the house, such as how to change the filter in the furnace and shut off the water heater in case of an emergency. The best part of his inspection though was the great things he said about the house. He said we bought a really good house that has obviously been very well maintained. Yay! He was also impressed that there were only two things he noted from his inspection, which he said was VERY good. It made me feel a bit more at ease to hear such positive things from him. Part of me is sad that I am leaving for CA in a few days because all I want to do is get ready to move in, but there is obviously not much I can do until we get the keys on the 28th, so it's good that I'm leaving so that I can't obsess over the house. It's a good obsessing though. I LOVE MY NEW HOUSE!!!

A couple quick side notes on Inara: she has shown some new signs of wanting to crawl. Plus, we've been practicing standing up with her and she does very well with bearing some weight on her legs. She has also discovered her nose this week and keeps putting her index finger just to the opening. I hope my kid isn't a nose picker. I hate that! She's also started putting her hand down toward her nethers when I'm changing her diaper, which is really gross when it's a poopy diaper. I swear she keeps me on my toes every day!!! But I love her all the same!!!

Only 4 more days til I get to see everyone back in SoCal. I hope you are all doing great and look forward to seeing you soon!
